Alpha Zeta Omega: Sigma Chapter

Sigma’s spring semester went very well. Adam Crnobrnja guided eleven new pledges into our fraternity this Spring semester and their initiation was April 19th, 2013. We had very successful community service events at the Little Sisters of the Poor, Miracle League of Northwest Ohio, and several others. Our annual Faculty Auction, ran by Masa Karanovic, raised an amazing $7,870 for the Health Science Campus mission trips. Bowl-A-Thon was another successful event that Sigma hosted and multiple other AZO chapters attended. We are looking forward to hosting it again next year for everyone.

If you haven't seent the flyers posted all over, Speed Interviews for our Spring 2013 pledges is TONIGHT, Wednesday the 13th!! This is mandatory if you wish to pledge this semester! It will be held in the DNA Hallway at 8:00 PM. Remember, this is open to everyone in the College of Pharmacy, including freshmen! We hope to see many of you there!

For those of you who missed the Informational meeting on Tuesday, there will be another one held tonight, Wednesday January 30th at 7:00 PM. Meet us in the DNA Hallway and learn a little bit more about our fraternity.
Also, Rush events are coming up next week!! Keep your eyes open for flyers and check back soon for times and places!

Hey everyone! We are currently selling tickets for our annual Toys for Tots raffle! Fraters will be on both campuses to sell tickets at various times. Tickets are $1 for one or $5 for six. There are tons of great prizes this year, including giftcards to Chipotle, Family Video, TGI Fridays, and Bigby Coffee just to name a few! See fliers and the CPPS newsletters for more details, or contact fraters to get yourself set up with some tickets!

On Saturday, November 17th Alpha Zeta Omega will be holding a karaoke night at 8 PM at Jax Bar!! Tickets are $4 presale and $5 at the door as well as $1 donations per karaoke! This is a charity event in support of the American Diabetes Association!! We hope to see many of you out to support the cause and have a great time with the fraternity and other students that will be attending!!

If you would like to purchase tickets beforehand, members of Alpha Zeta Omega will be in the DNA Hallway for the remainder of the week! Stop by and say hello!!

Only on more Rush event left!! We hope to see many of you to tailgate with us starting at 4:30 in the Rocket Hall parking lot!! It'll be a great time!

Next week on Wednesday, September 19th at 8 PM, we will be having our speed interviews!! We will be meeting at Starbucks in the Student Union. This event is REQUIRED if you want to pledge for Alpha Zeta Omega this semester!! We're really looking forward to seeing everyone's lovely new faces!
